A dramatic police chase ended in a rollover crash and four injuries early Friday morning. The two suspects taken into custody are in stable condition at Harborview Medical Center. Two other people suffered minor injuries.
The Seattle Police Department reported that their officers began pursuit of a vehicle they believed was moving suspiciously through north Seattle streets. The car then fled as it sideswiped several other vehicles before rolling over and crashing at the intersection of 80th Street and Roosevelt Way NE.

Seattle firefighters were forced to extricate the two suspects from the vehicle left upside down on its roof. The crash occurred near the Maple Leaf Reservoir Park. A pet chihuahua was also traveling in the stolen vehicle.
The chihuahua was reported to be unhurt.
There has been an uptick of car theft and carjackings in the Greater Seattle Metro area in 2018. Residents are advised to keep their vehicles locked and secure and to remain vigilant when entering and exiting their vehicles, especially during the evening and nighttime hours.
