Donilyn Hunter-Sallustio is the Director of Operations at The Advocates, where she has been an integral part of the team since 2014. Originally from Los Angeles, she now calls rainy Seattle her home and has found a way to love the city despite its lack of sunshine. With her educational background, which includes a major in Political Science from the University of Washington, and an MBA from the Foster School of Business, Donilyn has a deep understanding of the business side of the legal industry and the importance of advocating for those who need it most.
Growing up playing sports, Donilyn learned the value of determination, perseverance, and teamwork. She found the most rewarding wins were when she was the underdog, overcoming obstacles and proving herself against the odds. This drive and dedication led her to a career in the legal industry, where she now uses her skills to support the team and ensure that clients receive the best possible representation and outcome.
As the Director of Operations, Donilyn works behind the scenes to keep the firm running smoothly. She oversees financial management, human resources, and operations management, and is responsible for equipping her team with the resources they need to provide top-quality legal services.
In her free time, Donilyn loves to cook, watch sports, and spend time with her loved ones. She has developed a newfound love for golf and enjoys spending time on the green, but for some reason keeps finding herself in the rough… In the kitchen she likes to explore new recipes and makes a mean Italian red sauce (ask her for the secret ingredient). Donilyn also loves finding local live music and exploring all the cool and delicious breweries the PNW has to offer!
