Overview And Experience
Michael Driggs is a trial lawyer with The Advocates and serves as a litigation resource across the firm’s offices, including managing The Advocates’ California practice. His work is focused on high-stakes personal injury litigation, where he is frequently involved in cases approaching trial and matters requiring strategic coordination across jurisdictions. Michael is routinely consulted on case evaluation, trial preparation, and courtroom strategy, particularly in complex or catastrophic injury cases.
Michael has tried more than a dozen jury trials, along with bench trials and arbitrations. His recent trial work includes cases resulting in multi-million-dollar verdicts, reflecting a practice built on careful preparation, sound judgment, and credibility with juries. He has argued cases at both the state and federal level and has appeared before the Utah Supreme Court.
At the core of Michael’s practice is a belief that trial work should be approached with clarity, discipline, and respect for the jury’s role. He is drawn to trial work because it requires meaningful engagement with the people behind each case and the responsibility that comes with advocating for them during pivotal moments in their lives. Licensed in Utah, California, and Montana, Michael supports The Advocates’ broader mission by helping ensure that cases across the firm are built, positioned, and tried at the highest level.
Beyond work, Michael cherishes any opportunity to spend time with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys getting outside, especially when it means playing golf.
