A tragic crash along the Pacific Highway in Federal Way killed one man and sent three others to the hospital. Two of the victims were children of the driver responsible for the accident. The driver’s friend, Thomisa Maldonado, told Kiro 7 news of the driver’s love of speed and that she was in disbelief over the accident. “Ah, still in shock,” said Maldonado. She believes he loved his family and when asked if the accident was intentional said, “No, no. And it was his first daughter. His first daughter. And he always wanted a daughter. That’s the littlest one.”
The driver in the pickup was uninjured. Federal Way Police are still investigating the crash.
