A newlywed couple from Utah died in a rollover crash early Sunday evening. The rollover crash occurred just east of Prosser on Interstate 82.
Washington State Patrol said the crash involved a single vehicle, a Ford F-150, and no other people were injured beyond the recently married couple. The victims of the crash were later identified as Stephen Graham, 30, and Amy Moffat, 28, both of whom were visiting from Utah.
Investigators with the Washington State Patrol believe drowsiness might be to blame for the rollover crash. Witnesses said the F-150 veered to the left across Interstate 82, jerked back to the right, and then rolled over. Despite both victims wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, they were declared deceased by first responders who arrived at the scene.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.

Moffat and Graham were valued members of their church community in Utah and had been married just days before the rollover crash. After news of their passing spread, dozens of messages of support and rememberance appeared on the couple’s Facebook.
Moffat was employed as a nutritional therapy practitioner and had worked at the Missionary Training Center. Graham was a photographer for Deity Components, a bicycle racing company.
