Two people were injured in a single-car crash Thursday morning. Seattle Police said the man and woman inside the car crashed into a telephone pole on the 9400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene to find the man and woman trapped inside the wrecked vehicle. Firefighters were eventually forced to use hydraulic rescue tools, the so-called Jaws of Life, to extract the victims from the vehicle due to how badly it was damaged.
